Watermark Education has a staff of  Dyslexia Therapists who facilitate an hour of Neuhaus  Book 1 through Neuhaus Book 3 Dyslexia Therapy 5 days a week.

Classes are designed to consider the reading level of students and will scaffold instruction and assignments to meet their needs while bridging them toward grade level expectations.

The construction of background knowledge and content rigor is an equal priority.

Watermark Education will teach students strategies for reading comprehension in keeping with Structured Literacy practices.

Students will be immersed in the Domains of Language throughout the day.

Multi-sensory instruction will be used in all subject areas.

Project and Problem Based learning will be used to strengthen understanding.

After Dyslexia Therapy, some students still struggle to read, write and spell.  However, these are often the most intelligent students in the school.  Watermark Education will offer these students with dyslexia options for showing what they know.  This will include taking advantage of technology enhancements.

Lessons will be taught so that struggling readers can learn content without the barrier printed text presents.

Technology as a productivity tool will be taught to students.

Alternate ways to express proficiency in skills learned will be utilized.
